So you missed the four-day party bender that was the Deus 9ft & Single presented by SWELL. From bodysurfing contests, to shaping forums, to single-fin shootouts and everything in between, it was a fine way to spend an extended weekend. Whether the waves come to the table at these kind of events can mean the difference between an exciting performance or a drinking marathon, and in this case it was a mixture of the two. 034 | Where is Alfredo Gonzales.
#work
With two campers we drove south to shoot the new campaign for our brand Alfredo Gonzales. On our way to the south of France we picked up someone that would because or now friend, Marissa Papen, who is killing it on Instagram and after we approached her immediately said yes to join a bunch of strangers in campers shooting their new sock collection. Road tripping’ is what we all love and so we blended the passion for the road and called the new campaign “Where is Alfredo”. The search was on to find the Mexican legend and shoot while searching. We heard rumors of him being in Paris and shot the Pencil collection meanwhile. When we got further south we focus on camping, hipster hikes, and surf. Two weeks and a lot of rain that the Basque country needs to feed the amazing green hills. Great vibes together with Ivo de Bruijn we shot the photos (below only my own images), Hugo Happel and Dennis Ebeli focused on the production of the shoot and the Art Direction and made sure we never lacked on coffee and burgers. Road trip video by Off The Richter. Great memories and images. And readers, know that I’m always ready for the road.
Crew: Hugo Happel, Marisa Papen, Tom Munneke, Dennis Ebeli, Denni van Huis, Yannick de Jager, Tim Padmos.

Wherever you are in the world, on whatever day at some point the sun also rises. Narrated by Burgs a spiritual teacher, connecting concentration and mindfulness. I’ve spent time in meditation with Rin Poche (one of Burgs principle teachers) and through daily conscious living I’m trying to connect with what Burgs talks about here. I find myself so busy yet with so many wonderful things surrounding me I often forget to sit still and watch the birds, so this mediation is a reminder for all to sit and appreciate our incredible world. Words and video by Leonardo Dalessandri. "Over than 3500 km traveled in 20 days, capturing landscapes from the bluish tones of Pamukkale to the warm ones of Cappadocia, the all passing by a great variation of colors, lights and weathers through six other cities. I've crossed Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Ephesus, Istanbul, Konya; and tasted baklava, kunefe, doner, the turkish tea; and got the chance to meet the soul of Turkey, its people.. and got their smiles and their hospitality. This is Turkey lived by me from north to south, and I hope you enjoy it".

We, 11AM and I spent a crazy week sprinting around Barcelona shooting the 2015 Teva Campaign and filming the RTL4 TV bumpers for the next season of Expeditie Robinson. The shoot was a raging success, we had a great crew, typical sunny Spanish weather and we even managed to avoid the pickpockets. We spent a night in the ultimate treehouse and got to play in the Pyrenees.
